Growing Climate Leaders, One School at a Time

We help schools grow indigenous and fruit tree nurseries that teach climate action, create income, and restore ecosystems.🌱  🌍 Β πŸ’° Β

ABOUT US

Future of Sustainability

Kenya faces the twin challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss. Indigenous tree cover, critical for restoring ecosystems, has declined significantly, while many young people lack practical, hands-on environmental education. At the same time, schools often struggle to access resources that can both support learning and generate income.

Climate & Agriculture Education

Students and teachers learn tree propagation, nursery management, soil health, and climate science.

Community Empowerment

Communities engage in planting, protecting trees, and supporting nutrition initiatives.

Your Questions About Our Climate Initiative

We're committed to transparency and impact. Here are answers to common questions about Seeds of the Future and how we're transforming schools into climate action centers.

Seeds of the Future is a community-centered initiative that establishes school-based nurseries growing indigenous and fruit trees. We transform schools into hubs for climate education, food production, nutrition, health, and sustainable economic empowerment – preparing young Kenyans to lead our country toward a climate-resilient future.

Schools can apply to join our program through our partnership application process. We provide comprehensive training, nursery infrastructure, seeds, tools, and ongoing technical support. Schools benefit from income generation through seedling sales while students gain valuable climate and agribusiness skills.

We focus on two categories: indigenous trees for ecosystem restoration and biodiversity, and fruit trees for nutrition and food security. Each tree is selected based on local climate conditions, ecological needs, and community nutrition requirements.

There are multiple ways to get involved: sponsor individual schools or clusters of schools, provide in-kind contributions, participate in staff volunteer days, or engage in multi-year partnerships. Contact us to discuss flexible support options tailored to your organization's goals.
